H2C seeks a Data Visualization Manager to lead a specialized team responsible for transforming defined data outputs into clear, accurate, and impactful dashboards, reports, and illustrations. This role ensures complex data is presented in a way that is accessible, actionable, and aligned with organizational standards. While the role does not define data outputs, it ensures those outputs are engineered into effective visual products that integrate with custom software, vendor solutions, and enterprise delivery practices. The manager also oversees workflow automations using SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, and related tools to support intake processes and operational workflows. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring visualization engineering expertise, strong people management, stakeholder communication, and delivery execution. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership * Lead, mentor, and support the data visualization team to build a high-performing, technically strong group that delivers reliable, high-quality visual products. * Foster a culture of quality, innovation, and accountability while managing hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and skill development. * Serve as the technical escalation point for complex visualization and performance challenges. * Technical Scope & Visualization Delivery * Provide hands-on technical guidance for dashboard architecture, design patterns, data alignment, and BI tool capabilities. * Oversee the design, development, and delivery of dashboards and visualizations across enterprise systems. * Troubleshoot advanced visualization logic (DAX/SQL, embedded analytics, API-driven visuals). * Ensure visual products meet usability, accessibility, performance, reliability, and compliance standards. * Manage workload, prioritize requests, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of visualization assets. Workflow Automation & Microsoft 365 * Oversee workflow automations using SharePoint Lists, Power Automate, Microsoft Forms, and related tools. * Streamline manual processes into reliable, scalable workflows supporting intake, QA, and visualization operations. * Maintain automation standards, documentation, and change control while ensuring alignment with governance and security policies. * Monitor automated processes for performance, accuracy, and reliability. Cross-Team Collaboration * Partner with Product Owners, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to translate defined outputs into effective visual solutions. * Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to ensure dashboards integrate correctly with custom and vendor systems. * Communicate visualization decisions, risks, constraints, and tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders. Standards & Best Practices * Maintain and enforce best practices for visualization frameworks, tools, design standards, and delivery methods. * Drive continuous improvement in visualization quality, scalability, and maintainability. * Ensure consistent documentation, version control, and release processes. * Evaluate and recommend enhancements to visualization tools and platforms. * Promote data literacy and help stakeholders understand and use dashboards effectively. Success Metrics * Improved dashboard performance and reduced defects or rework. * Increased user adoption, satisfaction, and engagement with visual products. * Consistent on-time delivery of visualization assets. * Strong adherence to design standards, governance, accessibility, and semantic consistency. * Positive stakeholder feedback on clarity and usability. * Team skill growth, retention, and technical maturity. * Reliable, well-documented automation processes aligned with enterprise requirements.
Qualifications
Grade 20: Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 8 years' directly related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Grade 21: Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 10 years' directly related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased.
Compensation
In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, H2C takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial grade and salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made at the appropriate grade level and within the targeted hiring range posted according to these factors. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
