The Construction Services team is seeking a dynamic professional who is willing to support the team and take an active part in making them successful. A day in the life of a Contract Specialist may involve, but not limited to the following: * Performs procurement actions from pre-planning through closeout in accordance with established policies, procedures, and requirements. * Administers procurement activities across multiple contract types, applying sound judgment and knowledge of procurement best practices. * Evaluates Requests for Equitable Adjustments and supports administration of contract changes and related actions. * Prepares and maintains procurement documentation to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements. * Works within broad guidelines and procedures, exercising discretion on matters of significance and supporting effective procurement outcomes. * Integrates with internal customers and related departments to coordinate pre-procurement and post-award activities. * Solves complex procurement issues by analyzing multiple sources of information and applying sound business judgment. * Acts as a resource to team members and may lead projects or assignments with limited risk and resource requirements. * Participates in training and contributes to the improvement of procurement tools, guides, and business process documentation. * Experience with routine tasks involving the formation of contracts and purchase orders, solicitations and administration. * Experience with Requests for Equitable Adjustments.
Qualifications
* Career Level Grade 16: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 5 or more years of relevant experience. * Career Level Grade 17: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 6 or more years of relevant experience. The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Compensation
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates. Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week): * Career Level Grade 16: $81,500 - $125,250. * Career Level Grade 17: $86,200- $137,650. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
