Duties

The Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS) Information Management Services (IMS) organization is seeking a proactive, collaborative Information Technology (IT) Liaison to provide dedicated technical support to core customers across the Hanford Site. This role serves as the primary point of contact, for specific customers, for all IT related questions, issues, requests, and coordination needs. The IT Liaison will triage and escalate technical inquiries to subject matter experts, facilitate timely IT support, and maintain strong, positive working relationships with customers, peers, and IT service teams. The Liaison will be required to learn the tools, processes, and procedures essential to supporting IT services and representing customer needs. This role requires the ability to manage moderately complex assignments, communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, exercise sound judgment, and perform well under pressure, including during short turnaround tasks. A commitment to delivering exceptional IT customer service is essential. Experience for this role should include: *Communicating and coordinating with leadership and technical subject matter experts. *Exceptional written, verbal, phone, and video communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical and non-technical information. *Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and independently. *Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and proactively drive issues to resolution with minimal oversight. *Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines. *Ability to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining excellent attention to detail and follow through. *Ability to navigate complex or ambiguous customer situations with professionalism, sound judgment, and confidence. Primary Responsibilities: *Serve as an interface between customers, Hanford Site contractors, subject matter experts, project managers, helpdesk personnel, and other IT support teams. *Coordinate assigned work across multiple organizations and resources. *Respond promptly to inquiries, identify issues, and support conflict resolution. *Provide day to day assistance with IT tasks and projects—such as upgrade deployments, data transfers, and IT hardware inventory management. *Act as an IT Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support customer compliance with IT Governance processes and HMIS Software Quality Assurance requirements. *Work closely with Cybersecurity to help support the customer with risk profile updates, configuration baselines, and related system documentation.

Qualifications

*BA/BS degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. *3+ years of Information Technology or related experience to the job duties above. *Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Copilot, etc.). *Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge.

Compensation
