H2C is seeking a proactive and technically sound Industrial Hygienist to support implementation and continuous improvement of Industrial Hygiene hazard-based programs across the organization. This role serves as a central point of contact for multiple IH program areas, performing program implementation, strategic planning, exposure assessment, compliance review, and field support in a multidisciplinary environment. Duties include: * Implement and maintain Industrial Hygiene (IH) programs in alignment with regulatory requirements. * Develop, update, and interpret IH standards and procedures to promote and instruct on safe work practices. * Conduct assessment of IH programs and field implementation; provides written reports of findings with recommendations for improvement (where needed); and follows up on implementation. * Provide IH consultation for complex, cross functional planning and technical challenges. * Prepare written reports, gap analyses, and recommendations to improve IH programs and field implementation; follow up on corrective actions. * Support management by educating employees on IH practices, precautions, and regulatory requirements. * Partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure IH considerations are integrated into work planning, operations, emergency preparedness, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Prepare technical reports, exposure assessments, and documentation. * Participate in ERO planning and drills. Qualifications
Grade 16: Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health, Chemistry, Biology, or related field and 2 years related experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Grade 17: Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health, Chemistry, Biology, or related field and 4 years related experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased. Grade 18 Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health, Chemistry, Biology, or related field and 6 years related experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is significantly larger, and the expected level of performance is greatly increased.
Compensation
In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, H2C takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial grade and salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made at the appropriate grade level and within the targeted hiring range posted according to these factors. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
