Process Assistant II- Ceramics Technical Support

What You’Ll Do Day-To-Day: Provide support in developing and maintaining production procedures. Review reports, process paperwork, report and evaluate anomalies. Participate in qualifying equipment or processes. Maintain appropriate records. Order parts as needed. Review production documentation for application for the product centers (optimization). Assist or prepare process parameters. Troubleshoot production issues. Maintain production database as required – data entry and evaluation. Optimize inventory utilization. Interface with supervisor/engineer. Interface with other product centers to assist in achieving operational goals. Perform routine and complex laboratory tests. Review production data and make recommendations based on results. Coordination of workflow to optimize production. Responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes based on collecting data and collaborating with a Process Engineer. Computer aptitude to support SAP and Excel applications. Improves procedures to support Operator training and reference information. Responsible for coordinating production scheduling and creating production parameter documentation. Develops production procedures for new operations or equipment. Competent to perform tasks while considering health and safety requirements in the workplace. Reliant on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity is expected. Effective communication skills on presenting complex concepts to general audiences. Reliable and consistent performance.

Qualifications

What You'Ll Bring: High School diploma or equivalent education. Minimum of 4 years of related experience. Knowledge of production workflows and equipment and tools used in manufacturing. Basic math skills. Good communication skills to comprehend, follow written and verbal direction. Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.

Compensation

Total Rewards Package: Total Rewards Package Salary: $30.40 - $39.80 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
