Duties

The Program Manager position is responsible for a wide variety of programs across the Radiological Site Services (RSS) group, which is composed of the Hanford External Dosimetry Program (HEDP), Hanford Internal Dosimetry Program (HIDP), Hanford Radiological Records Program (HRRP), and the Hanford Radiological Instrumentation Program (HRIP). Together these programs support the dosimetry, radiological records, and radiological instrumentation needs of all Hanford Contractors across the Site in addition to other government and non-government customers. This position will manage operational and maintenance programs throughout RSS to ensure continued uninterrupted operation of all programs and compliance with federal regulation 10 CFR 835, the Site Hanford Radiological Health and Safety Document, the HMIS prime contract, and directed scientific standards and accreditation programs. Job responsibilities: * Manage Radiological Site Services (RSS) physical security program for two locations and interdependent cyber security requirements in support of specialized RSS project requirements. * Manage operational equipment and maintenance programs ensuring minimal disruption to provided dosimetry and instrumentation services. * Manage hazardous material program including lifecycle and waste disposition for materials used across all programs in RSS. * Work with other RSS program managers to perform Quality Assurance review, assessments, and strategic analysis of RSS functional and business operations. * Manage RSS facility and work group safety program to ensure proactive resolution to laboratory, workshop, and general safety concerns and inspections. Ensure regulatory compliance with applicable safety program implementation related to electrical, mechanical, and hazardous materials. * Lead and manage planning and execution of new experimental, logistical, and/or software projects within all RSS programs as they look to modernize work processes, equipment, and facilities. * Obtain Buyer Technical Representative (BTR) qualification. * Analyze and manage budget to ensure fiscal responsibility on individual projects as well as the organization comprised of two user based service pools. * Manage facility communications, operations, and maintenance. Develop and coordinate work packages when necessary for projects utilizing other Hanford craft or services. * Manage all projects that utilize subcontractor construction, maintenance, or operational support to RSS programs and equipment. * Oversee programmatic iCAS tracking, fact findings, and corrective actions. * Support the Subject Matter Experts, Functional Managers, and Technical Authorities with the development of new procedures and streamlining efforts at the program and project level. * Reinforce Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS), Voluntary Protection Program (VPP), Human Performance Improvement (HPI), and Conduct of Operations processes, values, and behaviors in work performed within RSS.

Qualifications

* BA/BS degree in project management plus 9 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. * Advanced experience with Microsoft Office products. * Experience working in radiological dosimetry and instrumentation calibration programs. * Experience reviewing technical dosimetry reports. * Ability to appropriately prioritize and organize work. * Good communications skills and ability to work as part of a team. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge.

Compensation
