Duties

Within the Performance Integration organization, the Continuous Improvement Program Manager supports and advances Hanford Site continuous improvement efforts through facilitation, Lean Six Sigma coaching, program administration, and process improvement implementation. This role is responsible for helping maintain and grow the site's continuous improvement program, supporting Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS), the Department of Energy, and site contractors in achieving performance objectives and fostering a culture of operational excellence. General responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: * Serve as a lead facilitator for structured improvement activities across the Hanford Site, including kaizens, value stream mappings, strategy sessions, teaming sessions, and cause analyses. * Mentor and coach Lean Six Sigma professionals through Green Belt and Black Belt certification efforts, and support delivery of continuous improvement training for site personnel. * Partner with program leadership to implement programmatic improvements, develop and maintain performance metrics, and support daily program operations. * Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers to identify improvement opportunities and support organization needs. * Support development, implementation, and maintenance of tools, records, workflows, and tracking systems associated with the Continuous Improvement program. * Assist in managing program resources, budget, schedules, documentation, and improvement action tracking, including use of systems such as Devon Way, SharePoint, and other document management tools. * Promote use of process mapping, data analysis, and performance metrics to support efficiency improvements, cost savings, and cost avoidance. * Contribute to change management and communication efforts that strengthen employee engagement and continuous improvement culture across the site. * Support assessments and reviews of programs and processes in alignment with quality and performance assurance expectations. * Provide leadership and day-to-day coordination support for program activities, including onboarding, training, and continuous refinement of program processes.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of related experience in continuous improvement, process improvement, program support, project coordination, facilitation, or document/process management - OR - an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification with experience facilitating structured improvement activities and coaching others in continuous improvement methodology. * Experience supporting or leading program operations, process development, metrics management, and implementation of program improvements. * Working knowledge of process mapping, records management, workflow tracking, and continuous improvement tools. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with minimal supervision. * Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information appropriately. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across organizations and with diverse teams. * Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge.

Compensation
