What You’Ll Do Day-To-Day: Launch and manage program that establish strong relationships with clients. Gather and share strategic information so that multi-functional teams manage major programs effectively. Provide meaningful performance related feedback/input to appropriate line management. Produce a business plan or investment study so that the group can meet its corporate financial targets. Preferred Skills Strong background in nuclear industry project management, ideally with experience in construction of LWR fuel fabrication, fuel development, or advanced nuclear products. Working knowledge of NRC regulatory frameworks, nuclear QA programs, and commercial nuclear customer expectations. Demonstrated success managing complex, multi disciplinary engineering, manufacturing, and qualification projects. Familiarity with product development lifecycles, technology readiness levels (TRL), and commercialization of engineered products in regulated environments. Experience developing and managing detailed project schedules, cost estimates, risk registers, and resource plans using modern PM tools. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing workflows, and quality documentation to support project planning and execution. Strong vendor and supply chain coordination skills, particularly for specialized nuclear materials and high-specification manufacturing processes. Leadership experience building high-performing project teams and developing early career project managers. Additional Day to Day Responsibilities Oversee a portfolio of new product and large LWR fuel fabrication projects from concept through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets are met. Coordinate across engineering, operations, quality, licensing, safety analysis, and commercial teams to ensure integrated project execution. Lead recurring project reviews, status meetings, and readiness assessments. Review and approve project baselines, design changes, procurement plans, and manufacturing readiness milestones. Manage project risks, mitigation plans, contingency strategies, and executive level escalation when required. Support customer engagement, including technical discussions, schedule negotiations, and reporting deliverables. Work closely with manufacturing and engineering leadership to align resource needs, staffing forecasts, and capability development. Promote continuous improvement in project management processes, tools, and organizational discipline. Other Requirements Demonstrated commitment to nuclear safety culture, human performance principles, and conservative decision-making. Professional certifications (PMP, PgMP, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Qualifications
What You'Ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum of 12 years of related experience. Advanced knowledge in a particular field of specialization. Ability to complete complex projects. Excellent communication skills to work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers. Good problem identification and problem resolution skills. Ability to change priorities quickly and confront issues directly.
Compensation
Total Rewards Package: Salary: $146,000 - $199,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
