Duties

GENERAL SUMMARY The Lead Outage and On-line Scheduler is responsible for maintaining schedule consistency and developing Schedule tools for the On-line and Outage scheduling at Columbia Generating Station. The purpose of this position is to deliver a timely, coherent, comprehensive and accurate set of schedules to the site for daily, on-line and outage work periods. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Direct and coordinate the detailed schedule development for Outage and On-line Schedulers to ensure Technical Specification and Maintenance Rule compliance and properly manage risk in a manner consistent with station procedures, processes, and goals. Develop and implement scheduling methodology and tools based on industry best practice. Subject matter expert/technology lead in all scheduling methodology and tools for the station. Motivates the scheduling team by establishing and communicating a common vision. Ensures consistency of the product and tools used by the schedulers. Provides leadership through the application of established Energy Northwest leadership techniques. Maintain schedule integrity through review and auditing of published schedules. Conducts periodic reviews and self-assessments which compare current scheduling methodologies to industry best practice. Other Duties: Must participate on the Emergency Response Team (ERO) when designated. Must support biennial refueling outage. Must provide support to the Outage Command Center (OCC). REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE SRO Certification/SRO License or previous SRO License and nine years of operations/maintenance/scheduling experience or RO License and 11 years of experience. Alternately, a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university with nine years of project management experience or dedicated planning and scheduling experience which includes at least four years of developing complex schedules and four years of experience at an operating nuclear plant OR an Associate’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university with 11 years of experience, nine of which must be in project management or dedicated planning and scheduling, including at least four years of developing complex schedules and four years of experience at an operating nuclear plant; OR a high school diploma or GED and technical training in related disciplines with 13 years related experience, nine of which must be in project management or dedicated planning and scheduling, including at least four years of developing complex schedules and four years of experience at an operating nuclear plant.

Compensation

Pay Range $145,302.00 - $217,952.00 Annual Midpoint: $181,627.00 Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances. Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications. Incentive Compensation This role may be eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
