What You’Ll Do Day-To-Day: Ensure effective performance on moderately complex to complex engineering assignments. Plan and direct the timely execution of engineering activities within assigned cost center(s). Ensure projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards. Develop and/or administer organization engineering standards and procedures for the group. Provide goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members. Ensure development and training of team members to optimize task results. Work interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships. Research and assess best practices, proposing methods and improvements. Work on special projects, as directed As the US Fuel Reliability Manager, you will lead a group of engineers and scientists who are responsible for resolving fuel reliability issues including the investigation of fuel failures and the evaluation of water chemistry and crud on fuel rod performance. This group is also responsible for administering Framatome's PIE program and collaborating with international colleagues to address fuel performance concerns. You will be relied upon to interface with internal stakeholders such as Fuel Design, Manufacturing Quality, Fuel Field Services, Contracts & Services, and Product Strategy to help achieve the goal of failure-free operation. Externally, you will represent Framatome to external stakeholders including utility customers, EPRI, INPO, and the NRC regarding Framatome's fuel performance and related projects. Experience within the US nuclear industry is strongly desired.
Qualifications
What You'Ll Bring: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted. Minimum of 10 years of related experience. Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria. Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required. Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment. Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills. Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates. Strong analytical ability and problem identification/problem resolution skills.
Compensation
Total Rewards Package: Salary: $146,000 - $199,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
