Duties
HMIS Information Management Services (IMS) is seeking a manager to lead Information Management (IM) Business Operations in support of the IMS Program Management Organization. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the IT User-Based Services program and billing, hardware and software asset management, and IT service request processing. The position also provides expertise in and/or manages diverse budget structures, ensures a high level of customer service, and collaborates with other Hanford contractors and subcontractors to support IT service fulfillment and related activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and demonstrate the ability to effectively interact with, present information to, and respond to all levels of management, peers, and staff. Candidate will be responsible for the following: * Leading and managing the HMIS IM Business Operations, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. * Planning, directing, and coordinating operations of the department. * Executing services through best practices and the appropriate staffing while assuring high standards of quality and effectiveness; and utilizing cost effective measures. * Ensuring adherence to company policies, standards, procedures, and government regulations. * Developing and maintaining positive and effective relationships with peers, staff and customer base while demonstrating mutual respect and cooperation. * Communicating effectively, verbally and in writing, exercising sound judgment and discretion, as well as working well under pressure and efficiently on short turnaround assignments. * Researching and abstracting information and supporting data in preparation for meetings, work projects, reports and presentations. * Fulfilling Control Account Manager (CAM) duties and other responsibilities in support of the Information Management organization. * Effectively prioritize and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial. Supporting staff during non-standard business hours as needed or as scheduled.
Qualifications
*BA/BS degree in Business or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. *8 years of work experience directly related to the Information Technology field that includes project/program management experience. *Experience with IT service request processing, IT User Based Services, and IT asset management. *Experience managing diverse budgets. *Knowledge of business and management principles involved in IT strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources within an organizational function or department. *Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge.
Compensation
