What You’Ll Do Day-To-Day: Ensure effective performance of engineering assignments. Plan and direct the timely execution of engineering activities, as assigned. Ensure projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards. Ensure adherence to government, organization and customer engineering standards and procedures. Monitor goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members. Work interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships. Research and assess best practices, proposing methods and improvements. Work on special projects, as directed. Perform other related duties and tasks, as required. Preferred skills: Strong communication skills with experience presenting technical results to customers, regulators, or cross-functional engineering teams Ability to lead and mentor teams Day-to-day: As supervisor you will guide the development, validation, and maintenance of Framatome's BWR neutronics codes and approved methodologies used to support reactor analyses across commercial projects and R&D. You will coordinate with engineering teams, review technical work for accuracy and regulatory alignment, and help set technical priorities to keep code capabilities aligned with business needs. You will also mentor engineers, troubleshoot complex modeling issues, and collaborate closely with thermal hydraulics, thermal mechanics and core design to ensure tools are reliable, efficient, and ready for deployment. Additional information about this group: This job opening is for the BWR Neutronics Codes and Methods group, which is responsible for designing and developing numerical methods and the software primarily used to design, simulate, and license Framatome fuel products. The team performs research and development of new codes and methods, addresses emergent issues, and responds to requests from internal and external customers.
Qualifications
What You'Ll Bring: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted. Minimum of 5 years of related experience. Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria. Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data. Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment. Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills. Displays leadership characteristics. Exhibits questioning attitude and practices self-checking. Advanced proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required by the role.
Compensation
Total Rewards Package: Salary: $109,000 - $148,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
