Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure (H2C) delivers exceptional performance in safely removing, treating, and disposing of tank waste. H2C leads the nation's largest and most complex radioactive waste cleanup, including closure of the legacy waste tanks at Hanford containing 56 million gallons of radioactive and chemical waste. H2C is seeking an Administrator for their Acquisition Management department. The administrator provides administrative, coordination, document management, and information-management support to the Acquisition Management organization. This position helps ensure procurement activities, records, communications, and information resources are accurate, current, organized, and readily accessible. The role works closely with managers and staff to support day-to-day operations in a highly regulated and compliance-driven environment. Specific duties include but are not limited to: *Maintain and update the Procurement/Acquisition Management SharePoint sites, ensuring information is current, accurate, organized, and easy for employees to locate. *Maintain and update internal and external websites and other electronic information resources, coordinating with appropriate communications or web-support personnel as necessary. *Review files, records, and supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, consistency, proper organization, and adherence to established administrative requirements. *Perform routine quality-control reviews of procurement documentation and identify missing, outdated, inconsistent, or incorrect information for correction. *Provide administrative support to managers and staff, including preparing agendas, coordinating meetings, tracking action items, maintaining calendars, and preparing correspondence and other materials. *Maintain files in accordance with established records-management and document-retention requirements. *Assist with document preparation, formatting, proofreading, distribution, and electronic filing. *Maintain organizational trackers, spreadsheets, rosters, organizational charts, contact lists, and other administrative databases. *Support reporting by gathering, organizing, validating, and maintaining information used for management reports and metrics. *Coordinate internal communications, such as announcements and newsletters, and other communications for the organization. *Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including access requests, organizational information, training records, equipment coordination, and SharePoint/site access. *Help maintain procedures, templates, forms, guides, frequently asked questions, and other internal resources. *Monitor shared mailboxes, folders, or other administrative systems and route requests to the appropriate procurement personnel. *Coordinate meetings and events for the organization, including logistics, invitations, materials, minutes, and follow-up actions. *Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, document organization, information accessibility, and overall efficiency. *Handle sensitive procurement and organizational information with appropriate discretion and confidentiality. *Perform other administrative and organizational duties as assigned. *Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Grade 6: High School diploma or equivalency (GED) and 8 years clerical experience required. Grade 7: High School diploma or equivalency (GED) and 10 years clerical experience required. Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased.

Compensation

In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, H2C takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial grade and salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made at the appropriate grade level and within the targeted hiring range posted according to these factors. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
