Duties

This position provides Engineering and Design Authority support to the HMIS Engineering Organization. Key responsibilities include: *Reviewing and approving work packages and other engineering documents in support of the HMIS engineering program. *Generating Facility Modification Packages and other required engineering documentation. *Conducting peer reviews of engineering documents developed by other engineers. *Capable of writing clear and concise engineering documents that define the activity, requirements, and expectations for the services being provided.

Qualifications

* Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. * A minimum of 2 years of related experience. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * Familiarity with applicable Local, State, and Federal Codes, Regulations and Standards for mechanical installation and maintenance. * Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge.

This investigation encompasses multiple areas of eligibility and includes a declaration of illegal drug activities, including use, supply, possession, or manufacture within the last year. This includes marijuana and cannabis derivatives, which are still considered illegal under federal law, regardless of state laws.
