Duties
Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure (H2C) seeks a Manager to support the Risk Management Organization. The Manager will support the implementation of the H2C Enterprise Risk and Opportunity Management (EROM) process across the organization. Support effective management and execution of Tank Operations Contract (TOC) scope through the minimization of risk impacts and maximization of opportunity benefits inherent in the contract schedule and cost baseline. The Risk Manager will be responsible but not limited to the following: * Lead the preparation and maintenance of H2C Risk Management Program documentation and H2C Business Risk and Opportunity Management Plan * Lead the development and delivery of Enterprise Risk and Opportunity Management System (EROMS) database development and Enterprise Risk and Opportunity Management (EROM) training across the entire organization * Ensure adequate direction in risk management is available to company and project level IPT members; managing the development, reporting, and communication of risk and opportunity information including assuring that appropriate risk assessment information is included in the H2C quarterly and monthly performance reports * Lead the development of the risk and opportunity management sections of proposals * Lead the review, analysis, and development of Baseline Change Request program and project risk considerations * Ensure risk and opportunity data is captured and controlled within the new EROMS * Lead the identification and analysis of River Protection Project Mission risk; development of risk models and the application of Monte Carlo analysis techniques * Lead forecasting of risk impact; monitor risk, and the development and reporting of program metrics and risk status. * Lead the development and maintenance of the basis for company management reserve and DOE contingency. * Perform risk management strategic planning. * Support ORP risk management activities including coordination with the WTP contractor and other site contractors. * Ensure ISMS principles are incorporated into the risk management program. * Serve as the primary risk management liaison between the customer (ORP) and H2C Sr. Management. * Provide mentoring and leadership to risk engineers. Provide the day-to-day management of risk personnel resources. * Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Grade 21: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in an Engineering, Science, Construction, or Project Management or related discipline and 10 years of related experience in project management, risk management, project engineering, or data analytics. Grade 22: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in an Engineering, Science, Construction, or Project Management or related discipline and 12 years of related experience in project management, risk management, project engineering, or data analytics. * Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased.
Compensation
In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, H2C takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial grade and salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made at the appropriate grade level and within the targeted hiring range posted according to these factors. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
