Tank Farm Projects is seeking a mid-career Project Manager with a proven record of delivering multi-million-dollar electrical and instrumentation projects in complex industrial environments. This role prioritizes hands-on project delivery and project management excellence—emphasizing safety, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional team coordination from planning through turnover. The specific duties of the Project Manager will include but are not limited to the following activities: *Lead the planning and execution of large electrical/instrumentation construction projects—owning scope, schedule, cost, and quality from pre-construction through acceptance testing and turnover. *Develop integrated project plans (work packages, submittal registers, risk reviews) and maintain baselines using standard scheduling and project controls practices (e.g., Primavera P6, CAL/CCR change control, RFI management, EVMS principles). *Chair or actively participate in constructability reviews; coordinate Statement of Work (SOW), RFP technical evaluations, and subcontract oversight with Procurement and Construction teams. *Provide technical leadership for electrical or I&C field execution: single-line and power distribution, arc-flash/ETAP studies, grounding, instrumentation and controls, PLC/VFD integration, and drawing redlines/as-built capture. *Maintain daily oversight of safety, quality, progress, and change management; track submittals, RFIs, and design change notices. *Interface with Engineering Design Authority, Operations/Shift Office, Quality, Fire Protection, Environmental, IH/RadCon, and external vendors to resolve design/field issues quickly and keep execution aligned to requirements and permits. *Drive configuration control and project documentation: Master Submittal List, document control, acceptance test records, exception lists/punch, and Construction Completion/turnover packages. *Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Grade 20: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline and 8 years of progressive experience spanning electrical/I&C project management or project controls—demonstrating successful delivery of multi-million-dollar electrical or instrumentation projects. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. Grade 21: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline and 10 years of progressive experience spanning electrical/I&C project management or project controls—demonstrating successful delivery of multi-million-dollar electrical or instrumentation projects. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased. Grade 22: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline and 12 years of progressive experience spanning electrical/I&C project management or project controls—demonstrating successful delivery of multi-million-dollar electrical or instrumentation projects. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased. *Proficiency with project scheduling and controls (e.g., Primavera P6), work package development, electrical submittals, and contract change management. *Hands-on familiarity with power distribution design, instrumentation and controls, and field execution practices. *Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills—able to mentor supervisors and coordinate cross-functional teams in high-hazard, schedule-driven settings.
Compensation
In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, H2C takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial grade and salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made at the appropriate grade level and within the targeted hiring range posted according to these factors. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
