What You’Ll Do Day-To-Day: Perform layout and design work from the basic data supplied utilizing theoretical and practical engineering knowledge. Ensure conformance to applicable standards and codes, as well as company policies and procedures. Consult with engineering staff and technicians to ensure compliance with design specifications and has a working understanding of the engineering design process. May apply advanced techniques in CAD and standard design applications utilizing this equipment. Early career electrical designer. Capable of the following: •Develop and revise electrical design drawings, including power distribution and control systems. •Ensure designs meet applicable electrical codes, standards, and project requirements (NEC, IEEE, NFPA, etc.). •Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into drawing updates. •Support field walkdowns, inspections, or verification tasks as needed. •Ability to take direction and work both independently and in a team setting.

Qualifications

What You'Ll Bring: High School diploma or equivalent education, including completed coursework in drafting and CAD. Minimum of 6 years of related experience. Advanced knowledge of CAD workstations for creating 2D and 3D drawings. Knowledge of drafting. Ability to interpret and apply design criteria and technical documentation. Ability to ensure accuracy in drawings in compliance with standards. Excellent communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed technical data. Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to change priorities quickly, confront issues directly. Exposure to use of CAD modeling and computer programming skills.

Compensation

Total Rewards Package: Salary: $38.10 - $49.90 per hour , and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
