Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure (H2C) delivers exceptional performance in safely removing, treating, and disposing of tank waste. H2C leads the nation's largest and most complex radioactive waste cleanup, including closure of the legacy waste tanks at Hanford containing 56 million gallons of radioactive and chemical waste. The Effluent Treatment Facility (ETF) operates around the clock as a radiological facility responsible for receiving, treating, and disposing of liquid effluents. These effluents are sourced from the Effluent Management Facility (EMF), the 242-A Evaporator, and various on-site projects H2C is actively seeking a qualified ETF Integration Manager to provide essential support to the ETF. This professional will work closely with ETF Operations, playing a pivotal role in advancing H2C Projects by managing schedules, optimizing resources, and improving productivity within the facility. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: *Manage effective performance of a multi-disciplined team of bargaining unit and non-bargaining unit personnel. *Coordinate and communicate upcoming Project activities that may impact plant operations, ensuring all stakeholders are well informed of any operational changes. *Monitor and report on project activities, including delays, to maintain transparency and efficiency throughout workflows. *Collaborate with the ETF Operations Manager to communicate staffing requirements, guaranteeing the necessary resources are available for scheduled activities. *Provide integration information to company-level schedules, interfacing with other organizations to align schedules and resources for compliant and mission-essential operations. *Share integration details with Operations and Maintenance management. *Maintain awareness of project status and report updates to the Area Manager. *Coordinate ETF outages with projects to ensure schedules are maintained. *Develop effective working relationships with both bargaining unit and non-bargaining unit personnel, fostering mutual respect and cooperation. *Offer recommendations to the Facility Manager regarding resource allocation to meet project objectives. *Set and uphold high standards of performance for self and others. *Define, document, and communicate policies, objectives, performance measures, and management expectations to personnel. *Maintain a thorough knowledge of facility corrective and preventative maintenance, prioritizing the achievement of facility goals. *Ensure the maintenance of Shift Operations Manager, Building Emergency Director, and LOTO COA qualifications. *Manage corrective iCAS Actions. *Encourage worker feedback and continuous improvement through routine meetings, the development of a path to excellence program, an open-door policy, and lessons learned. *Set work-challenging goals for personnel and group accomplishments. *Provide direction and oversight of personnel to meet goals in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner in accordance with all applicable requirements, including nuclear safety requirements, QA, occupational safety, environmental, radiological safety, and safeguards and security. *Evaluate work activities for positive or negative practices and advocate for necessary adjustments. *Conduct periodic oversight to ensure the implementation and effectiveness of requirements, including performing Management Observations. *Foster a self-critical, open-to-improvement culture within the facility.

Qualifications

Grade 21: *Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; and *Ten (10) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Grade 22: *Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; and *Twelve (12) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Note the essential duties for this grade level are like those of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased.

Compensation

In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, H2C takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial grade and salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made at the appropriate grade level and within the targeted hiring range posted according to these factors. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
