Truck Driver-Heavy

Duties
Operate semi-trailer, and truck and trailer; transmit mix; motor crane; A-frame; fuel truck; three axle truck; dump truck; forklift; two-axle flatbed; water truck; farm tractor, and related equipment; passenger bus; perform taxi, chauffeur, and wrecker services. Wash and clean vehicles, make minor repairs incidental to driving; such as, changing tires, etc. Also includes towing of trash trailer with two-axle trucks, loading and unloading of vehicles, and perform general labor functions as assigned. Utilize material moving equipment such as a manual or power-driven hand trucks, wheel barrows, etc. in the duties of moving, lift, stacking, loading or unloading. Perform ground and shrubbery maintenance including mowing, pruning, trimming, weeding and snow removal. Utilize and operate all ground and shrub maintenance equipment in performance of the above tasks. ***Company Wide Supervisory Work Group***
Qualifications
- Must have a current state-issued commercial driver's license (CDL) with Haz Mat endorsement. - Must have a High School diploma or GED - Must have at least two (2) years truck driving experience - Must possess or be able to possess a U.S. Dept. of Transportation medical clearance to operate CMVs and hazardous waste worker physical - Must be at least 21 years of age - Must possess a current, valid CMV license - Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries and to make entries on reports and records - Is physically qualified to drive a CMV in accordance with 49 CFR 391.41 - Is not disqualified to drive a CMV under the rules in 49 CFR 391.15
Compensation
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates. Starting hourly pay range: $41.514 to $43.700 In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
