CPCCo is seeking a Deputy Director to support the D4 End States (D4ES) organization. The D4ES organization oversees the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of several Hazard Category II Nuclear Facilities while advancing deactivation, decommissioning, demolition, stabilization, and end-state objectives in support of the site mission. * The Deputy provides overall leadership for the development, integration, and continuous improvement of planning and execution readiness activities across CPCCo in alignment with D4ES priorities. * Provides leadership to managers and matrixed personnel supporting operational field teams, while also overseeing the deployment and utilization of craft personnel to support facility operations, risk reduction, and end-state activities. * Provides leadership and direction to successfully manage facility support activities, including bargaining unit personnel and management, work week scheduling, inventory management, and field execution associated with assigned facilities in support of CPCCo and D4ES mission objectives. * Supports D4ES by ensuring operational activities are integrated with deactivation, decommissioning, surveillance, stabilization, and facility transition planning to achieve safe and compliant end states. * Ensures requirements are met and that all facility activities adhere to applicable Department of Energy (DOE) orders/directives, nuclear safety basis requirements, environmental and regulatory commitments, and industry best practices. * Establishes and maintains clear lines of communication across operations, engineering, project management, radiological control, nuclear safety, and other support organizations to ensure work scope is prioritized, coordinated, and executed as scheduled. * Partners with D4ES leadership to identify and resolve barriers to execution, improve operational performance, and drive safe, compliant, and efficient mission delivery across assigned nuclear facilities. * Supports implementation of conduct of operations, integrated work management, corrective action management, and performance improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. * Promotes a strong safety culture, including human performance improvement, conservative decision-making, and disciplined operations, while reinforcing expectations for accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. * Provides interface and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to support mission planning, regulatory interactions, readiness activities, and execution of D4ES objectives.
Qualifications
* Deputy - Grade 25 - BA/BS degree plus 16 years of relevant experience and at least 2 years of required relevant experience must be nuclear experience.
Compensation
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates. Expected annualized pay range based on full-time schedule (40 hours per week): * Deputy Grade Level 25: $208,701 - $365,100 In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
