Duties
The Expeditor will be responsible for expediting, organizing, and performing technical duties in support of scheduled tasks in order to achieve organization's operational maintenance deliverables and commitments. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with responsibilities, that include but are not limited to the following: *Obtaining and reviewing work documents with the Field Work Supervisor (FWS) to ensure documents are current (e.g., Radiological Work Permits [RWPs], Work Permits, Procedures, Waste Planning Checklists [WPC], etc.) and ready for work in support of scheduling activities and prior to deploying to the field. *Interfacing with the responsible Integration Specialist, Field Work Supervisor, Planner, Engineer, Material Coordinator, and other groups. *Facilitating and tracking work packages to ensure documents are reviewed, approved, and ready for work. *Evaluating work packages and/or orders and verifying status to ensure they are ready to be worked by the end of week T-1. *Prioritizing work packages and/or orders by reviewing and identifying any remaining approvals and determining if the work needs to be rescheduled. *Gathering information on work activities that were not performed as scheduled and creating a report. *Communicating with Field Work Supervisors and/or Area Managers to authenticate labor resources for availability. Tracking worker vacation time, Personnel Time Off (PTB), and training commitments (e.g., Hammer training, medical appointments, union business) to ensure adequate resources are available to perform work. *Participating in the plan of the day (POD) status meeting to track and manage the status of work performed in their area of responsibility. *Interfacing with other company organizations to ensure work is scheduled properly. *Performing Area Integration Specialist duties and responsibilities during their absence. *Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and organizational objectives.
Qualifications
*BA/BS and a minimum of 1 year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. *Knowledge of the Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Job Control System (JCS). *Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite. *Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge.
Compensation
