Overview: Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is hiring for a Training Specialist Sr in Richland, WA. This position wi l l support Navarro-AT L . Navarro-AT L is l ocated in Rich l a nd, WA and operates , manages, and maintains the 222-S L a b o r atory Comp l ex for the Department of Energy. Navarro-AT L members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oa k Ridge, TN), and Advanced Techno l ogies and L a b o r atories Internationa l (Gaithersburg, MD). Essential Functions And Job Responsibilities: Responsib l e for preparing and conducting education training and deve l opment programs. Partners with functiona l organization(s) to identify training needs, prepare training materia l s and deve l op course content. Designs, deve l ops, coordinates, and imp l ements effective training methods/curricu l ums to provide emp l oyees with the technica l k now l edge and s k i l l s required to perform their jobs safe l y and proficient l y. Accountab l e for student s k i l l acquisition and eva l uates student performance.. K eeps abreast of training and deve l opment research, new materia l s, methods, and techniques. Under genera l supervision, candidates must be ab l e to comp l ete the fo l l owing duties: Deve l op and revise training materia l s for 222-S L a b positions using the Systematic Approach to Training and ADDIE mode l that meets requirements of DOE order 426.2. Coordinate Needs ana l ysis and job/tas k s ana l ysis in the deve l opment of training Deve l op training programs in conjunction with tas k to training matrix. Deve l op l esson p l a ns designed to enab l e trainees to meet termina l and enab l ing objectives. Wor k with on-the-job trainers and eva l uators to ensure OJT/OJE requirements and expectations are met. Va l idate and assess exam questions based on trainee performance and feedbac k . Assess and revise training materia l s as changes in po l icy, procedures, regu l a tions, and requirements occur. Function as a Training subject matter expert for 222-S staff . May function as technica l authority for Training procedures. Interface with Procedure Writers to ensure procedures and training materia l are a l igned. May represent the organization to interna l groups and provide deve l opment-specific information to requestors. May function as a l ead, providing wor k direction, coaching, mentoring, and career deve l opment support to training staff. Deve l ops, performs, and documents forma l and informa l assessments to determine training program effectiveness. Manage specia l projects or assignments as directed by the Performance Assurance Manager.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Bache l or’s degree (BA/BS) in re l a ted fie l d and 8 years of re l a ted experience . Must have courses in education or training that focus on instructiona l ana l ysis, design, deve l opment, de l ivery, and testing, as we l l as eva l uation of training programs, if bacca l a ureate is not in Training or Education. Fami l iarity with app l ication and imp l ementation of DOE Order 426.2. Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Compensation

Compensation: Grade ​ 18: $109,013 - $137,538 ​ The grade l eve l offered to the se l ected candidate wi l l be based on business needs and the candidate's education, training, and/or re l evant experience.
