Duties
This position provides comprehensive administrative support directly to a manager or director within the Hanford Mission Integration Solutions contract. Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and performing a variety of administrative tasks to ensure efficient operation of the office. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS *Manages the manager's or director's calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. *Prepares and edits correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents. *Coordinates meetings and events, including preparing agendas, arranging logistics, and taking minutes. *Screens and directs phone calls and distributes correspondence. *Maintains filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring organization and accessibility. *Assists in the preparation and management of reports and presentations. *Monitors and orders office supplies to ensure the office is well-stocked and equipped. *Acts as a liaison between the manager or director and other staff or external contacts. *Handles confidential information with discretion and professionalism. *Supports the manager or director in various projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications
*High School diploma or GED, plus a minimum of eight (8) years of administrative experience - OR – an equivalent combination of education and related experience. *Strong interpersonal and communication skills. *Superior organizational skills, judgment, and flexibility. *Excellent written communications skills, including proofreading and editing for accuracy, completeness, punctuation, and grammar. *Ability to prioritize tasks and utilize effective time management skills. *Ability to schedule meetings, reserve meeting rooms, manage calendars, travel coordination, and operational communication. *Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge.
Compensation
