Duties

As the Deputy Vice President/CIO for Information Management, this position is responsible for the oversight of Network and Computing Services, Information Technology Infrastructure Services, Content and Records Management, Information Systems, Cyber Security and the Information Management Business Office. As such, this position has Information Management services responsibilities across the Hanford Site serving both DOE and the Other Hanford Contractors. This position will be primarily a partnership with the Vice President of Information Management to ensure high quality delivery of critical services and solutions at the Hanford Site. Additionally, as the CIO this position will: *Lead the organization's overall technology strategy and ensure it aligns with business goals. *Oversee IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications. *Manage IT budgets, technology investments, and vendor relationships in partnership with the IM business office. *Drive digital transformation initiatives, including modernization, cloud adoption, and data strategy. *Ensure information security, regulatory compliance, and risk management across all systems. *Support innovation by identifying new technologies that can improve efficiency or create business value. *Collaborate with executive leadership to enable technology-driven growth and operational improvements. *Develop IT talent, leadership, and organizational capabilities within the technology function. *Sponsor policies, standards, and governance for data, systems, and technology usage. *Provide oversight for large technology projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and outcomes are met.

Qualifications

*Bachelor degree in Management of Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, -OR- an equivalent combination of related education and experience. *Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience. *Must be able to effectively communicate to all stakeholders, including employees, other Hanford Contractors, Department of Energy and outside agencies. *Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge with a Q clearance.

Compensation
