H2C is seeking a Spare Parts Supervisor that will provide leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for the Spare Parts Program operations supporting safe, reliable, and compliant facility operations across the Hanford Tank Farms and associated facilities. This position leads personnel responsible for material coordination, inventory management, procurement support, excess disposition, and spare Parts Program execution in support of mission-critical maintenance and operational activities. The Spare Parts Supervisor will foster a strong safety culture, maintain operational discipline, and ensure effective execution of spare parts and material management activities that directly support continuity of operations and the Hanford Site cleanup mission. The specific duties of the Spare Parts Supervisor will include but are not limited to the following: *Lead and supervise spare parts personnel supporting maintenance, operations, and project activities. *Establish and maintain a strong safety culture aligned with Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) principles and company values. *Prioritize, assign, and oversee work activities to support operational schedules and customer requirements. *Ensure work activities are conducted within applicable company procedures. *Promote professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and effective communication across assigned personnel. *Oversee spare parts requisitions, procurement coordination, and inventory control activities. *Review and ensure purchase requisitions are accurate, complete, and aligned with operational requirements. *Coordinate with Procurement and support timely issuance and fulfillment of purchase orders. *Monitor material status and communicate impacts, delays, and resolutions to customers and project stakeholders. *Support timely and efficient delivery of spare parts required for maintenance and operational activities. *Maintain accountability and control of spare parts inventories, databases, and associated material management processes. *Monitor critical and critical consumable spare inventory levels and implement reorder strategies as necessary. *Assist in coordinating vendor returns, parts disposition activities, and surplus parts actions. *Interface with appropriate organizations for removal or redistribution of excess inventory. *Support compliance with property management, material control, and government accountability requirements. *Prepare and issue required status reports, inventory reports, and operational metrics. *Assist with training and development activities associated with spare parts control systems and processes. *Recommend procedure, process, and policy improvements that enhance spare parts readiness. *Support audits, assessments, corrective actions, and organizational readiness activities. *Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvement initiatives supporting mission execution. Qualifications
Grade 18: *BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. *Four (4) years of related experience in material management, inventory control, or related supply chain operations. *Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience in an operational environment. *Working knowledge of material control principles, procurement support processes, and inventory management practices. Grade 19: *BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. *Six (6) years of related experience in material management, inventory control, or related supply chain operations. *Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience in an operational environment. *Working knowledge of material control principles, procurement support processes, and inventory management practices. Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased.
Compensation
In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, H2C takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial grade and salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made at the appropriate grade level and within the targeted hiring range posted according to these factors. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
