What You’Ll Do Day-To-Day: All Technicians are expected to demonstrate competency in the core areas of Safety; Quality and Procedural Compliance; Productivity; Attendance/Availability; Qualifications Maintained; and specific skills appropriate to the Technician's training. All Technician IV’s are expected to have maximum proficiency of Technician II tasks and increased proficiency in Technician III tasks. Ceramics Technician: Become qualified as a new AF or OJTI or QC or Furnace. Work duties may require alternate shift assignments.
Qualifications
What You'Ll Bring: High School diploma or equivalent education Minimum of 1 year of related experience. Qualifications on specific Product Center equipment may substitute for years of experience. Possess mechanical aptitude. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. Inspection techniques (e.g., visual, dimensional, non-destructive testing). OSHA guidelines and workplace safety protocols. Hazardous materials handling and emergency procedures. Applying root cause analysis techniques. Understanding process flow diagrams and control charts. Spotting defects or inconsistencies in production. Basic communication skills to comprehend, follow written and verbal direction.
Compensation
Total Rewards Package: Total Rewards Package Salary: $35.00 - $36.25 per hour, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
